Recycled Material

Warneke carries a variety of boards both virgin and recycled material

All of Warneke Paper Box’s paperboard is 100% recyclable. The paperboard described below is made from 100% recycled material.

CCNB (Clay Coated Newsback)

CCNB is made from 100% recycled fibers. This recovered paper is material that would otherwise go to a landfill or incineration. This recovered waste is used in the following proportions:

Used Corrugated Boxes    5% – 10%
Carton Box Cuts                50% – 60%
Corrugated Scrap              20% – 30%
News and Ledger               5% – 10%

The level of post consumer waste fluctuates depending on the recovered paper availability and quality. Our paperboard typically has 50% post consumer waste. It has an average minimum of 35% post consumer content.

Bending Chip

Bending Chip is made from a variety of recycled paper products that are constantly changing and as a result it is virtually impossible to determine the exact type of paper that might be found in a given lot of paperboard.

Water that is pH neutral is used to make this recycled board. This paperboard conforms with FDA regulations and is 100% from recycled products. The recycled content for this board is in the following proportions:

Post-consumer waste paper                                            90%
Pre-consumer waste paper                                              5%
Internally generated pre-consumer mill trim waste          5%
